Bennett Custom Canvas was founded in 2007 by the owner/operator, Mike Bennett and his wife, Michaela. Operating out of the South Etobicoke area for 17 years, BCC has been servicing the boating community throughout the Greater Toronto Area and beyond. Though Michaela has moved on to a career in health care, Mike continues to design, manufacture and install tops, enclosures and upholstery for all variety of vessels and other unique projects.

Bennett Custom Canvas is a solo operation, meaning that Mike is involved in every step of your project from visualizing it, to designing, manufacturing and installing it. At BCC, the focus is not on volume, but on quality; no detail is overlooked, no corners are cut. Mike has also been a sailor/boater for over 40 years, so he has the unique knowledge to merge design with functionality so that your canvas not only looks incredible but will add safety and not impede the performance of your vessel.

As a past member of the Marine Fabricators Association, an international organization of canvas makers, BCC has won numerous awards for design and been featured in many MFA publications.

Though marine canvas is BCC’s primary focus, there are virtually no projects out of the realm of possibility. BCC has been involved with numerous movie and television productions as well as many custom residential projects. Please feel free to contact BCC with any unique requests.
